Maths Trivia

Level 5

Our mathematics quiz is aimed at VELS level 5. We cover Number, Space, Measurement (chance and data), Structure and Working Mathematically.

We also have specific maths-related DVD games, as well as some hilarious pop culture segments. Our maths DVD segments incorporate the following games:

• The Triangulator
A funny game on the big screen that requires students to identify types of triangles.
• Maths Genie
A pairs game that requires students to name ten maths geniuses.
• Prime Time
A fast-paced game in which numbers flash on the screen. Only four prime numbers are shown, and students must write down which ones they were.
• Panda's Problem
A short film that follows the adventures of Panda and his unemployed older brother, Gareth. Students need to pay attention to the detail in the film as they are asked some tricky questions afterwards.
• Roof Tops or Flats
A cricket game based on chance, our Quiz Meister quizzes students on probability and odds.

These segments, combined with our standard games and verbal questions, provide a maths session that will be both enjoyable and educational.
